Employee Volunteerism

As part of its commitment to excellence, employees of Nurserymen’s Exchange are dedicated to the betterment of the community and the earth.

Employees have committed their time and dollars in support of local and national based causes as well as disaster relief.  Many of our employees volunteer their time and expertise to an assortment of local non-profits.

American Cancer Society – Relay for Life in Half Moon Bay

Our employee’s raised over fourteen thousand dollars for the American Cancer Society by holding bake sales featuring “pan dulce” Mexican Pastries & hot chocolate and hosting their famous “taco luncheons”.

American Red Cross

Nurserymen’s Exchange Employees responded swiftly and generously as disaster struck New Orleans in the form of Hurricane Katrina.

Coastal Clean Up

Volunteers participated in 25th Annual California Coastal Clean Up. Coastal Clean Up is a way to take care of our fragile marine environment, show community support for our natural resources, learn about the impacts of marine debris and how we can prevent them, and to have fun!
